Students are allowed to decide whether they want to live in a single or shared room. Regardless of their choice, each room has its own bathroom. Rooms with exterior walls have windows, while rooms with interior walls do not. Students are allowed to decorate their rooms however they please, as long as it doesn't offend their roommate (if they have one). Beds provided for students are twin-sized. The bed frames can be adjusted so beds can be lofted to provide extra work space or storage underneath. Also optional are mini-fridges and microwaves.

There are rooms available for guests and those seeking refuge with nowhere else to go. Those rooms are similar to hotel suites and have a living area, a bedroom, closet and bathroom, and a small kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator.

X-Men and those working for the school have four different options available to them for living quarters. The first option is similar to the shared student housing, but as a two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment with a living room and kitchen in-between the bedrooms. The second option is a studio-style apartment, where the living room and bedroom are one bigger room. There is a one-bedroom option as well that is similar to the studio apartment but comes with a dining room. The balcony in the image is not accurate. The last option is more for mutants who have families that include children, biological or adopted.
